„Flower Matter“ zoom session

„Flower Matter“ zoom session

With each following step, we become more advanced and more successful in our mission of the project “Agricultural residues as a textile and design raw-material in the municipality of Kochani.” With this aim, it is essential to always be informed about current events, share ideas and innovations on renewable resources and the circular economy.

For this purpose, we gathered on a Zoom session with several representatives from the project: the Macedonian Fashion Association, fashion designer Irina Tosheva and one of the main speakers at this session, Irene Purasachit.

Irene Purasachit is a young international designer who has worked in several fields in this industry, including furniture design, graphics, fashion, and more. Since 2016, she has won over 15 awards and nominations in her industry.

The presentation of the “Flower Matter” project led to various discussions in the field of the circular economy. We got a new perspectiveon the use of flower waste and its implementation. Thanks to this great team, topics, discussions, and innovations have opened up that we can devote ourselves to in the future and use renewable resources.

Еducational activities for youth are supported by the project @obrazovanie_za_vrabotuvanje, a Swiss government supported project.

The project is carried out by the Macedonian Fashion Association and the Association of Citizens for Cultural and Artistic Activities Odonata .The project is implemented within the framework of the Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 – ReLOaD2 is financed by the Delegation of the European Union, Skopje, and it is implemented by the UNDP MK.
