Just Fashion General Assembly: Collaboration and Innovation in Vilnius!

This month, Macedonian Fashion Association together with Bastet Noir, Kristina Ilievska joined the Just Fashion EU Project General Assembly in Vilnius, hosted by VILNIUS TECH – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.

Over the course of two inspiring days, project partners, pilot case representatives, and Advisory Board members came together for a dynamic exchange of ideas, project updates, and strategic discussions focused on shaping a more sustainable future for the fashion industry.

Throughout the General Assembly, participants engaged in a rich programme of collaborative activities and strategic discussions designed to advance the project’s shared goals. The sessions included comprehensive updates from all work packages, alongside valuable insights and experiences shared by the pilot cases. Interactive workshops focused on business model development and indicator testing, encouraging partners to exchange perspectives and explore practical approaches for implementation.

The programme also featured an insightful lecture by Prof. Patrik Schröder on climate risks within supply chains, highlighting the growing importance of resilience and sustainability in the fashion sector. In addition, participants took part in stakeholder mapping and communication strategy sessions aimed at strengthening collaboration and impact across the project network.

A key moment of the meeting was the strategic reflection session led by Prof. Dr. Annick Schramme, where partners conducted a SWOT analysis to identify the project’s strengths, challenges, opportunities, and potential risks moving forward. The programme concluded with a guided tour of Vilnius, offering participants the opportunity to discover local innovation initiatives and foster further connections and collaborations.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for partners to align efforts, share progress, strengthen collaboration, and define the next steps toward driving a just transition in the fashion industry.

A huge thank you to VILNIUS TECH for the warm hospitality and to all participants for their engagement, insights, and valuable contributions.

Together, we continue to innovate, collaborate, and lead the change toward a more sustainable, circular, and responsible fashion ecosystem.
