Every year the traditionally organized “Days of Rice in Kochani” offer various prepared specialties, humanitarian activities, donations, and award ceremonies for farmers. What’s more, new projects and goals are promoted regarding the interests of the Municipality of Kochani.
This year we decided to take advantage of this event and contribute to the traditional customs of this community. So, with great enthusiasm, we laid the foundations for the following activities of this project.
After meeting the project’s students and mentors on October 4, we began with the second stage at the restaurant “AMOR” in Kochani on October 7. With our project partners, “Rotary Club Kochani-Vinica” and “Healthy Living in Kochani,” we showed photos and videos of our past activities and research. Hereby, we have highlighted the most essential information about the project: donors, duration, location, target group, collaborators, holders and project partners.
This way, we presented to the public what we regularly do, our goals and ideas for this project and the success achieved from previous missions. Thanks to the spacious room, excellent presentation location, and ambience, we welcomed more than 300 visitors. That’s why every single step is important in our story, for which results will finally be presented in March 2023.
The project “Agricultural waste as raw textile and design material in the municipality of Kochani” of the Macedonian Fashion Association and the Association of Citizens for Cultural and Artistic Activities Odonata is implemented within the framework of the Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 – ReLOaD2 funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
