{"id":1928,"date":"2022-12-08T13:47:49","date_gmt":"2022-12-08T13:47:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mfa.mk\/?post_type=project&#038;p=1928"},"modified":"2022-12-08T13:47:49","modified_gmt":"2022-12-08T13:47:49","slug":"making-matters","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/mfa.mk\/en\/project\/making-matters\/","title":{"rendered":"Making matters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the process of preparations for the fulfillment of our project, &#8220;Agricultural residues as textile and design raw material in the municipality of Kochani,&#8221; we went through lectures with experienced scientific workers of the UKIM Agricultural Institute in Ko\u010dani.<\/p>\n<p>Together with participants from &#8220;Ljupco Santov&#8221; school we attended the two lectures led by Research Assistant Ivo Mitrushev and Brankica Spaseva.<\/p>\n<p>Ivo Mitrushev lectured on practicum\/new life for rice biowaste. It included lessons on what kind of research can be conducted and their expectations, the use of rice straw fabric, rice bran as a raw material for wax, etc. We also discussed the potential of rice \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>With Research Assistant Brankica Spaseva, we discussed topics such as the meaning of rice as a cereal, the world rice production and production in the country, the conditions for its cultivation, the type of rice in Macedonia, what kind of processing is needed for the rice husk and what are the by-products derived from rice applicated in various industries.<\/p>\n<p>Through these lectures, we raised awareness about the potential of rice biowaste and the rice stages (from sowing to harvest), its use and the use of other materials of natural origin. How can rice straw and rice husk be utilized to avoid burning and other innovative ways to prevent wastewater pollution, rational use of renewable sources, natural isolation, etc.<\/p>\n<p>\u0415ducational activities for youth are supported by the project <a class=\"x1i10hfl xjbqb8w x6umtig x1b1mbwd xaqea5y xav7gou x9f619 x1ypdohk xt0psk2 xe8uvvx xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r xexx8yu x4uap5 x18d9i69 xkhd6sd x16tdsg8 x1hl2dhg xggy1nq x1a2a7pz notranslate _a6hd\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/obrazovanie_za_vrabotuvanje\/\">@obrazovanie_za_vrabotuvanje<\/a>, a Swiss government supported project.<\/p>\n<p>The project is carried out by the Macedonian Fashion Association and the Association of Citizens for Cultural and Artistic Activities Odonata <a class=\"x1i10hfl xjbqb8w x6umtig x1b1mbwd xaqea5y xav7gou x9f619 x1ypdohk xt0psk2 xe8uvvx xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r xexx8yu x4uap5 x18d9i69 xkhd6sd x16tdsg8 x1hl2dhg xggy1nq x1a2a7pz notranslate _a6hd\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/odonata_association_\/\">@odonata_association_<\/a> .
