Our amusing workshop “Mastering the pottery wheel” caused enormous interest among students from the ‘Partenija Zografski’ School Centre in Skopje. The youngsters arrived in large numbers, ready to create their own clay masterpieces.
With the previously drawn paintings inspired by this ancient craft on the table, they kept switching places on the pottery wheels and turned their once imaginary pitchers and plates into a beautiful reality.
The students were mentored by traditional pottery master Slobodan Stoleski and art professor Igor Kitanovski. The handmade products are yet to be given their final touches before the official presentation via virtual exhibition.
